 Modern technology has also been integrated into our security planning also. Each boat in the yacht share program is fitted with a GPS tracking device, this can be used to locate a yacht that has gotten into difficulty, as well as track down a vessel if it is stolen! If any yacht in our fleet moves from its mooring without the correct member being on board, the management will automatically be notified, this is because an electronic ‘Geo-Fence’ around the boat will have been broken. When any member arrives at the boat, completing the check out procedure through the Onboard E-Ssistant™ will deactivate the Geo-Fence and allow the use. Upon return of the boat, the check in procedure will re-activate the security to give you the peace of mind to know that your boat is safe, and only being used by authorized members.
Each boat is also fitted with other theft security devices similar to that you may protect your other positions with. Upon entry into the cabin of your boat you will activate security sensors that will require a security PIN to be input into the key pad to deactivate the  system, if this is not completed and audible alarm will sound on the boat to notify people nearby that a theft may be in progress, also monitoring will inform your management team and police can be deployed if necessary.
Many boats and yachts each year meet their demise while at dock, statistically four out of every five boats that sink, do so at the dock side, this incredible statistic illustrates the need to monitor a boat while it is unattended, therefore high water and smoke monitoring devices are also standard issue on all yachts in our program.
